ALL STAR PREP

Our All-Star Prep Cheer Program is designed for athletes who are ready to take the next step in their cheerleading journey. This program offers a fun, supportive, and competitive experience while continuing to build strong fundamentals in stunting, tumbling, jumps, motions, and performance. Athletes will learn and perfect a 2 minute high-energy routine that showcases their skills, teamwork, and confidence.

Teams practice twice a week for one hour, with practices held year-round. The competition season runs from December through March, with teams traveling to competitions across the Midwest and performing at two local performances. All-Star Prep offers a competitive cheer experience with less practice time and a lower financial commitment than Elite teams, making it a great option for athletes looking to grow their skills while balancing other activities.

Our All-Star Prep Program emphasizes skill development, teamwork, commitment, confidence, and sportsmanship in a positive and encouraging environment. It is the perfect bridge between beginner and Elite All-Star cheer, providing a competitive experience while preparing athletes for the next level of the sport.

Teams are formed by a combination of similar age and skill level. Much like other sports, a variety of skills, abilities, and athleticism are necessary to give each team the best opportunity to succeed in the gym and at competitions. Some factors the coaching staff consider when placing athletes on a team are maturity, coach-ability, stunting position, jump/motion technique, and danceability. With these in mind, the coaching staff will place athletes on the most appropriate team for them to excel. The placement of athletes with their unique strengths allows the coaching staff to build a well-rounded team. The age and skill requirements for All-Star Elite are listed below.

ALL STAR ELITE

Our All-Star Elite Cheer Program is designed for dedicated athletes who are ready to compete at the highest level of all-star cheerleading. This program focuses on advanced skill development, including elite-level stunting, tumbling, jumps, motions, and performance skills. Athletes will work together to learn and perfect a challenging, 2 and a half minute high-energy routine that showcases their talent, teamwork, and commitment.

Elite teams practice twice a week for two hours each practice, with practices held year-round to continue developing skills, strength, and team growth. The competitive season runs from December through April, with teams traveling to competitions throughout the Midwest, as well as attending an end-of-year competition that may require flight travel. Athletes will also have the opportunity to showcase their hard work at two local performances.

Our All-Star Elite Program requires a higher level of commitment, and financial investment than Prep teams. Athletes will develop confidence, discipline, leadership, and teamwork while being challenged to reach their full potential in a positive and competitive environment.

HALF YEAR CHEER

Half-year cheer is perfect for the beginner or those interested in joining a competitive cheer team with less of a commitment than our full-year teams. Fewer competitions and limited weekly practices allow athletes to be competitive, but with a much lower financial commitment. Athletes will learn a two-minute choreographed routine showcasing jumps, stunting, tumbling, and dancing. Half-year teams will travel to three competitions within the Midwest and compete against other teams at their age level. Routines are judged by the level of difficulty, precision, creativity, and technique. Half-year teams will also show off their skills at one local performance. Athletes will practice for one hour, two days per week. Athletes must be at least 7 years old and able to execute a cartwheel. If you have an athlete under the age of 7 wanting to compete, please look at our Tiny Novice Program. Their competitive season will run January-March with practice beginning in September. It is suggested that you be enrolled in a recreational cheer or tumbling class prior to placements, but by no means required!

Teams are formed by a combination of similar age and skill level. Much like other sports, a variety of skills, abilities, and athleticism are necessary to give each team the best opportunity to succeed in the gym and at competitions. Some factors the coaching staff consider when placing athletes on a team are maturity, coachability, stunting position, jump/motion technique, and danceability. With these in mind, the coaching staff will place athletes on the most appropriate team for them to excel. The placement of athletes with their unique strengths allows the coaching staff to build a well-rounded team. The age and skill requirements for All-Star Prep are listed below.
